My name is Karl Lindblom

I create real-time VFX for games and cinematics, combining artistic vision with technical expertise. My work has contributed to game projects that have reached stages like the SGA (Swedish Game Awards) and FGA (Futuregames Awards).

Skilled in shader development, particle systems, and game engines like Unreal Engine 5 and Unity, I focus on optimized, high-quality effects that reflect the amazing games I play and strive to create.

Seeking an internship from May 2025 to further develop my skills and contribute as a VFX Artist.

About Me.

I am a passionate VFX and Animation Artist dedicated to crafting magical experiences in both games and film. My journey into digital art began with a defining moment watching the Wrath of the Lich King trailer for the first time. The sheer power and beauty of its storytelling and visuals left a lasting impression on me, and I knew then that I wanted to be part of creating something just as breathtaking.

I started my path in character animation and movie production at Skövde University, where I developed a strong foundation in movement and storytelling. Over time, I expanded my expertise into real-time VFX at Futuregames Stockholm, specializing in visual effects for games and cinematics.

Throughout my career, I have contributed to numerous game and animation projects, earning recognition as part of both the Swedish Game Awards and the Futuregames Awards. Beyond creating stunning visuals, I have worked in various teams both as a contributor and as a director, leading creative visions to life.

A lifelong fan of science fiction, fantasy, and games, I strive to infuse my work with the same sense of wonder and immersion that these worlds gave me. Whether crafting breathtaking VFX or bringing characters to life, my goal is to create experiences that captivate and inspire just as that legendary trailer once inspired me.
